The Greek Orthodox cathedral and seat of the Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East, one of the oldest churches in Damascus, with roots in the early centuries of Christianity. It has been rebuilt several times, most recently after the events of 1860, and stands near Straight Street in the Christian quarter.
